Tested on MacbookPro10,1 (Retina, Mid 2012)
OS X 10.9.1
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M (Intel HD Graphics isn’t used at the moment)

It works okay when tested on MacMini6,2 (Late 2012)
OS X 10.8.5
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 4000
Version: unspecified → Trunk

Not specific to 10.9, sadly - I see this on both 10.9 and 10.8
Steps to reproduce:
I switched between HiDPI and external monitor many times throughout the day, switching the resolution/DPI mode and graphic card. I suspect that the problem may be able to be reproduced this way.
Pretty sure this is a widget bug.

Can't comment on STR, as I run OSX in VMs on ESXi.

Interesting that this doesn't happen to Safari. Whenever I see this starting to happen to Firefox windows, I also see the same bug on Terminal and Finder windows. Also on System Preferences and the App Store app.
Oh, and the Safari preferences window is affected as well, it seems, just not the main browser window.

Maybe this only happens to windows that use NSTexturedBackgroundWindowMask.
Markus, do you know what caused this to start? Can you make it block that bug please? Otherwise, add regressionwindow-wanted. Thanks.

I don't know what caused it.

I see the same as Bram - this was fine on my retina mbp but when I plugged into an external display the corners were gone. Dragging between displays I see some fun flashing as the window gets redrawn and the corners are missing (the flash is only really noticeable with Firefox, Safari prefs window is pretty instant). I'm also seeing the corners missing across apps, so Markus might be on the right track. I don't have 10.10 to test if the issue is persisting there but it definitely seems like it's an OSX issue, not Firefox specific.
Does this still reproduce? Is finding a regression range still useful/practical? Note that I don't have a Mac, so it won't be me if that answer is yes :P

This problem doesn’t reproduce on OS X El Capitan, but I’m unsure about Yosemite and earlier versions.

I think I stopped seeing this once I updated to 10.10.

> Is finding a regression range still useful/practical?

Not really. It'd probably either be caused by bug 676241 or have been there forever.

I'll resolve this as WORKSFORME because I think Apple has fixed this for us. We're not going to do anything to work around it on earlier versions of OS X (and I'm not even sure we can).
